A Beautiful hand-made Rustic Country, 8, 10, 12+ Seater Dining Table. MADE - TO - MEASURE. Hand made in England by traditional craftsmen this stunning Country Table presents a uniquely Rustic feel to any dining room or conservatory. Inspired by age old joinery normally employed in vaulted ceilings this. Offers to compliment the existing architecture or add to room designs which otherwise could not fulfil that desire. Where possible all of the original surface textures have been retained, complete with mill and hand- saw marks. Thoroughly sanded, these original surfaces create a unique and very original Shabby Chic look, especially here when hand painted in the old style finishes and lightly sanded through at the edges to give that'French' feel to the decor. Choose a colour and it shall be yours, otherwise it is here painted in a blend of 2 F&B paints giving this gentle "Pale Blue". The Ex 2 (44mm finish) thick top is made from joinery quality red-wood pine boards. These are taken from the centre of the tree for strength and flatness, totally in keeping with the beamwork on which they sit. The most popular finished colour is our own dye we simply call "oiled oak effect". This goes well in a kitchen with say oak worktops or oak side furniture.

However, here the client chose from a raft of samples to finally select an almost solid paint colour. In pigment strengths from opaque, through translucent to solid paint colour the final choice allowed only the knots and strong grain to show through. The final finish can be either our wax-look lacquer, oiled or waxed with water repellent waxes - we can offer most techniques to suit any preference you may already have. This Table comfortably seats 8 to 10. 12, 14,16 and more can be made to quotation.

In fact there is no limit. At 110cm wide the carver ends offer a commanding view - other widths are available some narrower, some wider. To assist in transport and ease of re-assembly in your home, the table base can be supplied in knock-down form; the two jointed ends are permanently assembled, whereas the long horizontal "Tie Beam" is dry jointed and bolted together using original specification ironware - a spanner is all you need. (Easy to follow instructions are included). Length - up to 370cm (seats 14) - alternatively, you specify. Any longer requires a centre support post, so there is a small increase in cost for materials and finishing labour. Width - up to 107cm. See below for contact details.
