A Beautiful hand-made Family Country, 8, 10, 12+ Seater Dining Table. MADE - TO - MEASURE.

Hand made in England by traditional craftsmen, this stunning Country Table presents a uniquely Rustic feel to any dining room or conservatory. Inspired by age-old joinery (normally employed in vaulted ceilings) this. Thoroughly sanded and painted in the old style finishes to give that'French' feel to the decor. Choose a colour and it shall be yours, otherwise it is here painted in a blend of F&B "Railings". The Ex 2 (44mm finish) thick top is made from joinery quality red-wood pine boards. These are taken from the centre of the tree for strength and flatness, totally in keeping with the beam-work on which they sit.

Typically six planks wide with a cross board at each end this technique is in keeping with vintage tops; though the top may contract the ends keep it flat. Here the client chose from a raft of samples to finally select our opaque colour wash. With pigment strengths from solid to translucent the final choice of grey allowed the knots and strong grain to show through.

The most popular finish, however, is our own dye we simply call "oiled oak effect". This goes well in a kitchen with say oak worktops or oak side furniture. The final finish can be either our wax-look lacquer, oiled or waxed with water repellent waxes - we can offer most techniques to suit any preference you may already have. This Table comfortably seats 10, 12, 14 and more can be made to quotation. In fact there is no limit. At 122cm wide the carver ends offer a commanding view - other widths are available, some narrower, some wider........ The table can be built to order with pull-out extending staves, on which sits a leaf. This adds either 42.5 or 50cm to the length at each end - it's your choice. To assist in transport and ease of re-assembly in your home, the table base can be supplied in three parts, the two gable ends and the long "Tie Beam".

These are bolted together using original specification ironware - a spanner is all you need. (Easy to follow instructions are included). Length - up to the photo at 305cm (seats 10-12) - alternatively, you specify. Width - up to 126cm - wider to quote. See below for contact details.
