Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this exquisite Antique Georgian circa 1820 gold gilt and lacquered Chinese Chinoiserie Chessboard and backgammon games table. A very well made and decorative piece, this table is of a Georgian design, made when the English were obsessed with everything from the oriental. The table has three drawers for keeping chess pieces inside and other games, its made of pine and oak with wonderful patina throughout. The main top continues the Chinoiserie design, you then have a chessboard on the other side and a backgammon board inside.

Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
