Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this. Stunning hand carved solid oak Dutch side table with ornately carved base.

This set was hand made by a master craftsman in Bruges Belgium for a very successful Architect. It's part of a complete Library suite which includes the double sided heavily carved partners desk, matching original upholstery brown leather chair, side table, large hutch cupboard and huge triple bank full sized library bookcase, all other pieces are listed under my other items. This piece was being used next to the desk as a side table and or secretary desk, its great size and very utilitarian. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the timber is all perfect, ever so slightly warped with age but nothing to write home about.

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
