Four Fine Restored Brown Leather Gothic Revival Steeple Back Kitchen Bar Stools

  
Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely suite of four stunning fully restored hand dyed Whisky Brown leather, Gothic Revival Steeple back kitchen bar stools which are part of a suite. I have 10 of these stools in total, this sale is for 4 with the other 6 being listed under my other items, there is also a listing for all 10. I have another 8 that will be with my upholsterer in a few weeks, they will have all new leather and will be Chesterfield tufted, they will then be hand dyed, they are naturally a lot more expensive than these. This particular set are in very good vintage order, I have never seen bar stools with a Gothic revival steeple back before, the frames are oak and are very solid and stable. The leather upholstery is original and nicely distressed, it has been fully restored to include being washed back, its then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, the frames have been cleaned waxed and polished, they will also have some normal age and use related patina marks here and there. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade. COURIER, LARGE ITEMS ONLY THAT CAN'T BE POSTED. Whomever delivers will always require help on the larger items to unload, the price you will be quoted will always be based on this assumption, if this is not possible, please let us know as it will affect the price to send a two-person team.
