Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this. Stunning Sinclair Matthews Newport model large wingback armchair with solid oak frame and floral upholstery. A very good looking and well-made large chair with expertly carved Claw & Ball feet in solid oak.

The upholstery is very ornate it seems to be some kind of silk blend with a silver leaf threading, I've never seen anything like it, when the light captures it, the reflection is just like picturing sterling silver. The arms are flat top arms which is after a very old style after William Morris. The cushion is deep feather filled so very comfortable, its fully upholstered on both sides so should the worst happen, and you stain one side you can simply flip it over. In terms of the condition, I can't see anything negative to note. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
