Pattern 10 / Rother Satin Glazed Interior Oak Door. This Rother Satin Glazed Interior Oak Door manufactured to allow maximum light into your room while still offering privacy. Fully glazed, supplied complete with flat, translucent satin laminated glass pre-installed.

The glazing is held in place with a decorative Ovolo mouldings. The Rother door matches the clear glazed Derwent as well as the full panelled Porter. Laminated 6.4mm Satin Glass for safety.

Top rail and 58mm Bottom Rail. On edges and top rail.

Engineered construction for added strength, stability and performance. Product supplied unfinished, ready to paint or stain. A-Grade American White Oak Veneer. Real Oak Lipping allowing for 8mm to be trimmed off all edges of the door. Additional Oak in bottom rail to allow reduction by upto 40mm.

Laminated glass, also referred to as "safety glass", is used in vulnerable locations around the home. Once Broken, the laminated glass holds in place and does not break into large sharp pieces like standard glass, or lots of small pieces like toughened glass. Instead it remains intact, long enough for you to have a replacement installed. Laminated glass stays in place is because it is made up of two pieces of standard glass. These have a thin, plastic interlayer sandwiched between them.

The polyvinyl butyral (PB) layer bonds the two pieces of glass together. This means that even when it breaks, the fragments are kept together and intact in one sheet. The standard laminated glass is made up of two 3mm sheets of glass with a 0.4mm PB interlayer, making it 6.4mm overall.
