Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely antique Victorian metamorphic library steps chair in hand carved oak. A very charming and highly collectable piece, designed as an at home library steps and reading chair, these are used to add a sense of grand occasion to a standard bookcase, this is the first one I have seen in real life that has this level of Arts & crafts style carving, it is an amazing find. The finish is original, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
