Green rectangular tile by Pewabic Detroit. Impressed hallmark on the back side is dated 2008. The backside also has an indentation for wall hanging if desired. The pattern name is "Oak Leaves". Founded in 1903, Pewabic is one of the oldest continually operating potteries in the country. Working out of a National Historic Landmark studio on Detroit's east side, they preserve a tradition of craftsmanship in an active working pottery, architectural tile studio, ceramic arts education center, and vibrant cultural destination. Dimensions: 12.25" Tall x 6" Wide x 5/8 Deep. No visible crazing or discoloration. Paint intact with good color and without scratches or erosion. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges. No signs of previous repair or restoration. Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles. On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views. All dimensions and weights approximate. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition - this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
