Rustic Style Recycled Solid Oak Wine barrel Stave Chair Garden Furniture. This single chair is handmade from the recycled staves from genuine wine casks. The chair is constructed so the inside of the barrels stave which has been turned a beautiful burgundy colour by years of ageing wine are facing outwards, the underside of the wood has been sanded back to give a wonderful aged oak finish. The chair is intended for inside use only as varnishing it would prevent the gentle waft of the aromas of wine being released. However, by simply applying a good coat of our Cheeky Chicks clear yacht varnish the chair becomes ready for use in the garden. If you are going to use the chair outside we would recommend varnishing on a yearly basis and storing in a dry place during the winter. Approx dimensions: Height 79cm - floor to the seat 45cm - Width 30-40cm. Please note that due to the nature of this product each chair may differ slightly in colour and size.
